From the time he was born, Francesco Pigazzini has lived among works of art, paint brushes, easels, and even the scent of paint.It came naturally to him to get involved in the family passion, developing the desire to contribute to the conservation of family heritage.
The profession of restoration was the direct consequence.
His grandfather, Luigi Pigazzini, was nominated to be the Head Restorator at the Institute of restoration in Rome, and partook in the recovery of innumerable works of art, becoming one of the most requested experts in the field.
His parents Sergio, the Head Restorator of the Institute of Restoration in Rome and Vittoria, an art historian, continued to develop their understanding of and techniques for art restoration.
Francesco Pigazzini received all the fundamental theories and practices necessary for art restoration from them. Infact, he claims to have had the best teachers right in his own family, with whom he has even collaborated on various occasions.
He has now decided to share his experiences and knowledge acquired early on with those who wish to contribute to the maintenance of artistic beauty.



This 2-week course is open to a maximum of 8 students, who will have a place at the Poggio ai Pini family villa, an enchanting location to relax and be one with nature.
